Our Mission
It is our mission to foster a community of passionate anglers, dedicated to the art and enjoyment of fishing along the Texas coast. We are committed to promoting sustainable fishing practices, preserving our natural marine habitats, and educating our community on responsible angling. Through camaraderie, conservation, and continuous learning, we aim to enhance the fishing experience for all while protecting the rich biodiversity of our coastal waters for future generations
Our Community
We live here, work here, and fish here. Our community is our biggest asset and we are constantly looking for new opportunities to give back in various ways. Fort Bend Fishermen assists with Kidfish each year, which is hosted by the Fort Bend CCA. This event brings hundred of kids to Matagorda Harbor every July. We also are the proud hosts of the ever-growing, all ladies fishing tournament, Lingerie on the Bay. Since 1992, we have proudly hosted nearly 400 women as they compete in this women's only fishing tournament.
